FOR ANYONE WHO READS THIS...Quinn's Birthday is November 20. Would love for everyone to come and have appetizers, cake, and ice cream!!
Today we woke up to ~5 inches of snow on the front lawn It was a brisk 37 degrees. Quinn wasn't sure what to think of it. In general she doesn't like cold things. Maybe it is because she is chinese....NOTHING in China was cold! :)
Since Quinn has started crawling she has become increasingly speedy, she pulls herself up with no problem and has started ascending the stairs...eeeekkkk! Although she is more work now she is crawling, Michael and I are happy about her new found mobility. She is much less frustrated when she can get to where and who she wants.
We carved pumpkins this week. I think everyone had a good time. Quinn was more interested in eating the pumpkins stringy things and seeds than she was the carving
Mikey and I were worried about how in the world we were ever gonna get her off the bottle. She seemed to love it so much. Well, she surprised us by absolutely refusing her bottle. When you offer it to her she turns her head away puts her hands up by her mouth and lets out a squawk. She seems almost offended. So no bottle since last Friday. We give her the formula in her sippy cup. She is also really into feeding herself. Makes things a bit difficult when you are trying to feed her things other than finger foods.
Her fave book this week is "I love you all the time"
fave food this week- organic cheese curls --cheeto-type things
oooo the stringy things are gross.
